Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to get a certificate?
Domain Validated (DV) and Wildcard certificates are usually issued within minutes. OV and EV certificates verify your organisation, which takes longer.
What is a Wildcard certificate?
A Wildcard certificate secures your main domain plus unlimited subdomains — such as mail.example.com and webmail.example.com — on a single certificate.
Do certificates renew automatically?
A renewal order is generated when your certificate nears expiry. After payment it is configured, validated and provisioned for you, provided your site is hosted with us on cPanel or Plesk.
Do I need a dedicated IP address?
No. Modern browsers support SNI, so SSL works on shared IP addresses.
